Avenged Sevenfold is an American rock band from Huntington Beach, California, formed in 1999. The band consists of vocalist M. Shadows, lead guitarist Synyster Gates, rhythm guitarist Zacky Vengeance, bassist Johnny Christ.
Avenged Sevenfold emerged with a metalcore sound on their debut Sounding the Seventh Trumpet, which included primarily screamed vocals. The band changed their style on their third album and first major label release, City of Evil, which features more of a hard rock style. The band continued to explore new sounds with their self titled release and enjoyed continued mainstream success before their drummer, James "The Rev" Sullivan, died of heart disease and combined effect of drugs and alcohol in his body in 2009. Despite his death, the band continued on with help of then former Dream Theater drummer Mike Portnoy and released and toured in support of their fifth album Nightmare in 2010 which debuted on the top spot of the Billboard 200, a first for the band.
To date, Avenged Sevenfold has released five studio albums, one live album/compilation/DVD, and fifteen singles. The band themselves have received much credit for their worldwide mainstream success and were most notably proclaimed as one of the leaders and key bands in the New Wave of American Heavy Metal and were featured as second place on Ultimate Guitar's Top Ten Bands of the Decade.

Linkin Park will release their new single 'Burning in the Skies' on March 21st on Warner Bros. Records.
The single is produced by Rick Rubin and Mike Shinoda and is taken from their critically acclaimed/multi-selling album 'A Thousands Suns', which was released in the UK on September 13th giving the band their fourth top five album.

Having closed 2010 with a sell-out UK arena tour and being crowned the biggest selling rock/alternative act (with over 50 million sales) by Billboard, Linkin Park have confirmed they will return to the UK in June to headline Europe's biggest rock festival Download.

The band will play a mixture of back catalogue tracks as well as a selection of new songs from their fourth studio album 'A Thousand Suns.' As well as headlining Download, Linkin Park have announced they will be headlining the 5th Annual iTunes Festival with a special intimate show at Camden's Roundhouse on 4th July 2011.

30 Seconds to Mars is an American rock band from Los Angeles, formed in 1998. Since 2007, the band has been composed of actor Jared Leto (lead vocals, rhythm guitar, songwriter), Shannon Leto (drums, percussion) and Tomo Miličević (lead guitar, keyboards). Following the departure of Matt Wachter (now of Angels & Airwaves) in 2007, Tim Kelleher became the bassist for the group, performing live only with both Jared and Miličević recording bass for studio recordings, while Braxton Olita (keyboards) was added to the touring lineup in 2009. Previously, the group also featured guitarists Solon Bixler (now of Great Northern) and Kevin Drake.

OneRepublic is an American, self-proclaimed "genreless" band from Colorado Springs, Colorado.[1] Formed in 2002 by Ryan Tedder and Zach Filkins, the band achieved success on MySpace, becoming the most prominent un-signed act on the website. They signed onto Mosley Music Group in 2006, and released their debut album, Dreaming Out Loud in 2007.

OneRepublic made radio history when with their first single, "Apologize" received the largest amount of airplay in history with 10,331 plays in one week, the record only being broken again by Bleeding Love, a song Tedder also wrote himself. The remix version, featured on Timbaland's album Shock Value was a smash hit internationally, reaching number-one in sixteen countries and gaining 10 million downloads (the largest number of digital downloads for any song to date) subsequently earning them a Grammy nod.[2] The band also achieved national success with their second single, "Stop and Stare". Dreaming Out Loud was certified gold in the United States, Austria, Australia and Canada.
